The essential oils in carrots have an effect on mucous membranes and stimulate blood circulation in the stomach and intestinal tissues. Carrot juice is good for constipation and diarrhoea as it has a balancing action on the body. Headaches, eczema and skin blemishes may be linked to bad digestion and may be rectified with this juice. Carotene in carrots is good for immunity and vision. Celery is distinctly alkaline and eliminative and recommended for all disturbances caused by accumulation of toxins, while cucumber is a good diuretic, blood cleanser and anti-inflammatory."
